How to fix the incompatible issue on M2.2.x?

Issue: 

We're using version 1.1.5 on M2.2.9 and facing an issue. When setting config Drop-down Option View = Show image when selected,  and then clicking to the image, it does unselect and the image is hidden.

Solution:

The issue just happens on M2.2.x only with the latest version.

To solve it, please overwrite this file app/code/Bss/CustomOptionImage/view/frontend/web/js/image_preview_dropdown.js
