v1.1.6: How to fix error "Can't check requested quantity for products without Source Items support"?

QUESTION:

 We have used Bss_InventoryReport in our project built in Magento 2.4.3 version. When we try to save the product it is throwing the error "Can't check requested quantity for products without Source Items support" 

After disabling the extension we are getting product save successfully.
