How to send a copy of order confirmation email ?

Question I need to include the order details (e.g. customer, items, totals etc.) in the new order notification email template

Answer: About your requirement, we think you could use the default function instead, in Store-> Configuration -> Sales -> Sales Email -> Send Order Email Copy To

You could fill in the email you want to send a copy of order confirmation to besides administration email.
