Can the invoice's status be changed from paid to unpaid after auto generating?

Question:

We installed the Auto Invoice module and it works perfect. The invoice is created as supposed to.
But the status is marked as paid while we want it to be marked as unpaid.

How can we change the invoice to unpaid instead of paid after capture?

Answer:

We are sorry that it is unable to change the status from paid to unpaid as you wish.
Since our module is built on the default Magento in which the invoice will be created and sent to customers once they complete their payment, the status must be marked as "paid".
