v2.2.4: How to fix loading forever error when applying discount code and cancel it?

I use your module v2.2.4 for my site Magento 2.3.5 and everything is fine so far.

However, I just found an error that it keeps loading forever if I apply the discount code then cancel it on the checkout page.

Do you have a fix?
