Original and special price of configurable product do not display on the category page

Question:

We are having a problem with your Multiple Store View Pricing module: when a configurable product has multiple simple products that sit beneath that all cost the same and are all on sale for the same price it is just showing the lowest price on the category listing page for that configurable product. It should be showing the was and now price to show that it is on sale.

We would like to confirm that the default Magento supports to show the lowest price on the category listing page for a configurable product which has multiple simple products that are all on sale. The original and special price are displayed only for simple products.
